Who should apply?

Baptist’s CRASH Course Camp is open to students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior year in high school and have an interest in a health care career.

How do you choose applicants?

We have an application process that involves your parents, your school and you. We look at the applications and evaluate the recommendations and the essay.

How will I know where to go and what to do?

We have several health care professionals that will guide you and help you while you are attending CRASH Course Camp.

Who will I meet at CRASH Course Camp?

Aside from making new friends, campers will meet health care professionals who work in different specialties, nurses, doctors, radiologists, lab technicians and more. Because campers will spend much of their time at the hospital, campers will also meet patients.

If I am interested in radiology, lab, or pharmacy can I still attend CRASH Course?

Yes, this camp will provide an introduction to all hospital-based professions. If you have an interest in any health care career, we encourage you to apply.

How much does it cost?

CRASH Course Camp is offered at no cost to campers. A generous grant from the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation covers all camp expenses.
