Why did you choose pharmacy as a career?
When my mom received her cancer diagnosis, I was miles away from home and wished I could be by her side. During our phone calls, she would talk endlessly about how amazing her pharmacist was as she comforted her during her infusions and created a positive environment in a not-so-ideal situation. It was through this experience that I was drawn to pharmacy. I was able to see the direct impact that pharmacists are able to provide in both managing and delivering care. I will forever cherish the treatment she received and strive to be that support system for my patients as well.
