Heart & Soul: A Men's Wellness Collective

According to the American Psychological Association, more than 30 percent of men in the United States have suffered a period of depression in their lifetime, and nearly one in 10 have daily feelings of depression or anxiety. And while those numbers are about the same for women, the suicide rate among American men is about four times higher than among women. In fact, depression and suicide are ranked as a leading cause of death among men.

Heart & Soul: A Men’s Wellness Collective is a special, free, one-day event that brings together health care professionals, mental health providers, community organizations and expert speakers to inform, educate and inspire men to be proactive in their mental health.
