What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

You can expect to be treated by a compassionate, competent physician who is dedicated to the health and well-being of each patient. I treat all my patients with the same level of respect I would expect from my own doctor. I listen to your concerns and effectively communicate my thoughts and approach to treatment to educate you on your own health so you can take an active part in your care.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. I believe optimal care is provided when a patient can openly discuss concerns, cares and beliefs without judgement.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

In my spare time, I enjoy reading mystery novels, spending time with my husband and daughter, and traveling.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Problem solving and meeting new people. I enjoy the hard work and challenge of solving my patients’ issues and reaching the best possible outcome. And, I value each opportunity to learn different perspectives from others who I would not necessarily meet in my everyday life.
